A fish dish with tuna and cocktail tomatoes

about 2 servings

Ingredients:

260 g  Tuna Callipo in olive oil

4    Garlic cloves

1 bunch    spring onions

250 g    cherry tomatoes

2 branches    fresh thyme

about 2 tbsp    lemon juice

Salt

freshly ground pepper

5 tbsp    olive oil

about 75 ml dry white wine or sherry

Preparation

1. To prepare if Tuna Callipo in olive oil is frozen, thaw it according to the package instructions. Peel cloves of garlic. Wash the spring onions and cut them into long strips. Wash and halve tomatoes. Rinse the thyme under cold water, pat dry and pluck the leaves from the stems.

2. Prepare crush 1 clove of garlic and rub the tuna fillets with it. Then drizzle the fillets with lemon juice and lightly salt and pepper. In a pan, heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil and fry the tuna for 3 minutes on each side.

3. Cut 3 cloves of garlic into small cubes. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan and sauté the vegetables briefly over medium-high heat, deglaze with the white wine or sherry and season with salt and pepper to taste. Arrange the fillets together with the vegetables on a plate.

The yellow-fin tuna is fished in total accordance with the protections of the habitat of the sea and is dolphin-safe. The meat is ripened in olive oil for at least one year before sale according to product size.
