Keep in mind, with preserved truffles, that the flavor will be extremely mild, and they will probably have little aroma. That being said, there is a great use for preserved truffles (canned truffles), especially during the months where fresh black truffles can't be found. A little sautéing in truffle butter or truffle oil will release the flavor of these little black truffles truffles. This product is the perfect way to experiment with black truffles without much cost. Refrigerate after opening.
