Cooking Nonno Nanni Potato Gnocchi

They are very easy to prepare, just 2 minutes. In cooking they do not break, the flavor is truly exceptional, soft and the flavor of the potatoes is very strong.

To prepare just pour them in boiling salted water and in a few minutes, the gnocchi will be ready. They combine very well with many sauces. Season them with a light sauce, with which these dumplings blend very well, becoming even more appetizing. The ideal would be to prepare them while they are still fresh.

Nonno Nanni Potato Gnocchi with peppers cream


Number of servings: 4

500 gr of Nonno Nanni Potato Gnocchi

1 yellow pepper

1 red pepper

1 clove of garlic

extra virgin olive oil to taste



  1. Wash the peppers well, cut the cap and remove the seeds and the internal white part.
  2. Cut into small pieces and cook in a pan with oil and the clove of garlic adding a little water until they are cooked, about 10 minutes. Season with salt
  3. Remove the garlic clove, take the peppers, leave only a few whole pieces if you want, and with an immersion blender make the cream.
  4. Cook the gnocchi in salted water, drain as soon as they rise to the surface and dip them in the pedella of the seasoning. Skip the gnocchi with the cream and let them season well.
  5. Place and serve.
